How to Tell The Difference Between Axelson Relays

Not Sure What Axelson Relay You Have?

Axelson makes two different types of relays for their Surface Safety Product Line.  One Relay is the CRBBM Relay and the other is the PRV Relay.

Please see the picture above that will help you to identify what you have installed.

Not sure which relay you need?

Both relays do the same thing so it’s a matter of preference.

The CRBBM is considered the Cadillac of the Axelson brand relay and is often specified in many projects. This relay also has vent holes if you need to collect the gas instead of letting go to the atmosphere. You can purchase a collector that fits on the relay to collect gas. Optional Exhaust Collector Ring.

Natural Gas for Our Future
Natural Gas an ideal fuel source for many reasons, including safety. Natural Gas is lighter than air. This means that it will not puddle (like gasoline) or sink to the ground like propane, which is heavier than air. Instead, Natural Gas will rise and dissipate in the atmosphere. Natural gas also has a higher ignition temperature. This means that it is much harder to ignite. Also the storage systems used for compressed natural gas are infinitely stronger that the gasoline tanks found on cars and trucks today.
